Your Account
I can't login, or I forgot my username or password.
If you can't login, check to make sure that your "caps lock" key is off. Your username, email and password are CaSe SeNsItIvE. If you still cannot login to VITAEVISION, you can request to reset your password (you will need the most current email address we have on file for you), or contact us.
How can I delete my VITAEVISION account?If you are aboslutely sure that you want to delete your VITAEVISION account, you can do so here. This link is also available under your "Account Settings" menu. Please note that, upon deletion, your account will be permanently eliminated and irrecoverable!
How can I update my profile?To update your profile, you must visit the Edit Profile page, which may also be accessed through your "Profile" menu. You can move through the different parts of your profile by clicking the tabs at the top of the page.
How can I update my email address?It is critical that your email address is always up to date. Among other things, it is there where you will receive all notifications regarding your account activity, as well as all administrative notices. You can update your email address on the My Account page.
How can I report an error or other problem with the site?To report an error or problem with the site, you can contact us here. We kindly request that you always include detailed information about the problem you may be experiencing, such as browser name and version, and all actions you were conducting to the point when the error took place.
Account TypesCurrently, there are two types of accounts at VITAEVISION: Professional & Corporate.
Professional accounts are intended for all users who intend to promote themselves.
Corporate accounts are for users who wish to be identified as representatives or a certain company and intend to make use of the applications reserved for such type accounts (e.g., Business Directory).
Corporate Account Members please note: Selecting "Corporate Account" does not automatically grant the right to advertise or promote businesses and/or services on VITAEVISION. If you would like to take advantage of our advertising and sponsoring packages, you must contact us so we may jointly explore the best and most cost-effective solution for your organization.
Finally, Professional and Corporate account users are classified separately in our professional networks, so that when viewing the recent activity feeds for each each professional network (e.g., Advertising & PR, Journalism, Human Resources, etc.), the feed will only display the recent activity for either Professional or Corporate members within each network. If you wish to search members pertaining to specific professional networks and different account types, please specify the account type in the 'Search Members' search options.

Reporting Abuse
How can I deal with someone that is bothering me?
At VITAEVISION, we take our users' privacy very seriously. If someone is bothering or harassing you, blocking them is usually the best first step to take. Visit the Account Settings page to learn how to block people. Subsequently, you may report the user so we may open an investigation and take the appropriate measures (from issuing a warning to banning the infractor). Please send your reports through our contact form.
How can I report spam or other inappropriate content?You can report spam, pornography, or any other inappropriate content here, or by clicking the "Report" link on the page containing the content you wish to report. Despite our efforts to monitor VITAEVISION´s contents, there is always the possibility for something to slip by. We value your help in reporting all contents and conducts that will make our commmunity safe and cordial.

Similarly, when you create a blog, or a Portfolio, you are given the opportunity to decide who is allowed to view and interact with such contents.

Will you send me unsolicited commercial offers by email?Absolutely not! All notifications you receive as a member of VITAEVISION are stricly related to your account's management and your activity on our platform. Furthermore, and with the exception of purely and necessary administrative emails, you are entitled to decide which type of notifications you wish to receive, or not, in your Account Settings page.
We do offer a free newsletter subscription service for articles, networking tips, and other goodies, and which, sporadically, does contain commercial offers and recommendations. However, subscription to this newsletter is optional and done separately (it is not included in your account registration).

The Indeed®-powered job search section allows you to search thousands of job posts in over 15 countries. Indeed® is an external service not affiliated to VITAEVISION. Your use of Indeed® is governed by the terms of use of said service, and you may need to register with Indeed® in the event you wish to apply to a job post or make use of any of their features.
Profile BadgeThe profile badge allows you to quickly design a virtual business card to share in virtually any website which allows HTML code (e.g, blogs, forums, social networks, etc.).
Your profile badge includes basic information about you, as well as a direct link to your VITAEVISION professional profile.
Naturally, access to your profile is based on the privacy settings you may have configured.
To setup your profile bagde, make sure your profile information is up to date (we recommend your uploading a photograph to your profile), head to the "Profile Badge" option under "My Apps", select the layout and color you like, and copy the resulting code below. This is the code that you will need to paste in external websites.
Now you can easily tell the world about your professional profile online; another VITAEVISION application that will enhance your networking tasks!

You may, of course, set each of your portoflios' privacy settings (required upon creation of every new portfolio), and make adjustments later on.

These are tools that allow our users expand and organize their contact network at VITAEVISION. The "Networking Explorer" app, suggests potential contacts to our users, and allows them to import their contacts from their webmail accounts to VITAEVISION.
"User Connections" allows our users keep track of their contacts and their degree of separation in a simple visual interface.

C.V. Review
Our registered members are allowed to have their C.V. reviewed and edited by a member of our staff twice per year.This service is free of charge and includes a personalized report with C.V.-improvement suggestions.
In order to take advantage of this service, registered members must always:
1. Have an account in good standing at VITAEVISION.COM (no reports and/or warnings for infringement of our terms of use)
2. Invite (at least) one person to join VITAEVISION.COM using our invitations application. Naturally, the invitation must be successful (i.e., invitees must sign up to VITAEVISION.COM)
