If you are aboslutely sure that you want to delete your VITAEVISION account, you can do so here. This link is also available under your "Account Settings" menu. Please note that, upon deletion, your account will be permanently eliminated and irrecoverable!

To update your profile, you must visit the Edit Profile page, which may also be accessed through your "Profile" menu. You can move through the different parts of your profile by clicking the tabs at the top of the page.

It is critical that your email address is always up to date. Among other things, it is there where you will receive all notifications regarding your account activity, as well as all administrative notices. You can update your email address on the My Account page.

To report an error or problem with the site, you can contact us here. We kindly request that you always include detailed information about the problem you may be experiencing, such as browser name and version, and all actions you were conducting to the point when the error took place.

Currently, there are two types of accounts at VITAEVISION: Professional & Corporate.

Professional accounts are intended for all users who intend to promote themselves.

Corporate accounts are for users who wish to be identified as representatives or a certain company and intend to make use of the applications reserved for such type accounts (e.g., Business Directory).

Corporate Account Members please note: Selecting "Corporate Account" does not automatically grant the right to advertise or promote businesses and/or services on VITAEVISION. If you would like to take advantage of our advertising and sponsoring packages, you must contact us so we may jointly explore the best and most cost-effective solution for your organization.

Finally, Professional and Corporate account users are classified separately in our professional networks, so that when viewing the recent activity feeds for each each professional network (e.g., Advertising & PR, Journalism, Human Resources, etc.), the feed will only display the recent activity for either Professional or Corporate members within each network. If you wish to search members pertaining to specific professional networks and different account types, please specify the account type in the 'Search Members' search options.

At VITAEVISION, we take our users' privacy very seriously. If someone is bothering or harassing you, blocking them is usually the best first step to take. Visit the Account Settings page to learn how to block people. Subsequently, you may report the user so we may open an investigation and take the appropriate measures (from issuing a warning to banning the infractor). Please send your reports through our contact form.

You can report spam, pornography, or any other inappropriate content here, or by clicking the "Report" link on the page containing the content you wish to report. Despite our efforts to monitor VITAEVISION´s contents, there is always the possibility for something to slip by. We value your help in reporting all contents and conducts that will make our commmunity safe and cordial.

You can manage your profile privacy setting by visiting the Account Privacy page. In addition, you should also define which type of email notifications you wish to receive from VITAEVISION here.

Your Privacy Preferences are not limited to your profile. You may also decide what kind of actions you perform on VITAEVISION are shared in the 'What's New' and 'Recent Activity' feeds. Similarly, when you create a blog, or a Portfolio, you are given the opportunity to decide who is allowed to view and interact with such contents.

Your privacy preferences may be updated as often as you like. However, we strongly suggest common sense and prudence in your online activities. Please, do not share personal or contact information unless you are providing professional contact details and you understand the risks associated with sharing any type of contact information online. Also, we request that you are respectful of others' privacy by not publishing third parties' information or contact data. Finally, we appreciate your help in reporting any and all abuse of our platform via the corresponding 'Report' buttons, or through our contact form.

Absolutely not! All notifications you receive as a member of VITAEVISION are stricly related to your account's management and your activity on our platform. Furthermore, and with the exception of purely and necessary administrative emails, you are entitled to decide which type of notifications you wish to receive, or not, in your Account Settings page.

We do offer a free newsletter subscription service for articles, networking tips, and other goodies, and which, sporadically, does contain commercial offers and recommendations. However, subscription to this newsletter is optional and done separately (it is not included in your account registration).

The Indeed®-powered job search section allows you to search thousands of job posts in over 15 countries. Indeed® is an external service not affiliated to VITAEVISION. Your use of Indeed® is governed by the terms of use of said service, and you may need to register with Indeed® in the event you wish to apply to a job post or make use of any of their features.

The profile badge allows you to quickly design a virtual business card to share in virtually any website which allows HTML code (e.g, blogs, forums, social networks, etc.).

Your profile badge includes basic information about you, as well as a direct link to your VITAEVISION professional profile.

Naturally, access to your profile is based on the privacy settings you may have configured.

To setup your profile bagde, make sure your profile information is up to date (we recommend your uploading a photograph to your profile), head to the "Profile Badge" option under "My Apps", select the layout and color you like, and copy the resulting code below. This is the code that you will need to paste in external websites.

Now you can easily tell the world about your professional profile online; another VITAEVISION application that will enhance your networking tasks!

Create a portfolio and being showcasing your C.V./resume, samples of your work, and anything that may help you further your professional exposure online.

You may, of course, set each of your portoflios' privacy settings (required upon creation of every new portfolio), and make adjustments later on.

Currently allowed file types include video, documents (PDF), images, audio files, as well as your YouTube™ videos.

The resume application allows the option for you to input your complete resume for fast and convenient viewing right on your profile.

While you may upload the PDF version of your resume to your portfolio (see 'Portfolios'), allowing visitors to quickly consult your resume right from your profile page could enhance your exposure to potential employers/networking contacts.

The privacy of your resume is tied to the same privacy settings you adjust for your profile (e.g., if you adjust your profile to be viewable by your contacts only, your resume will only be shown to them).

You may also include personal contact information in your resume (i.e., address, email, telephone numbers). We strongly advice you to NOT enter such type of information, and make sure that these fields are empty, unless you are absolutely sure and understand the risks involved in sharing such personal details. The personal contact information fields are optional, and, remember, if a user wishes to contact you, the may always do so by using the available messaging features in VITAEVISION.

VITAEVISION's groups present yet another opportunity for meeting new people and exchanging information.

Would you like to participate in a group for people who share your career interests in your city or country? If such a group has not yet been created, take the lead and create it yourself!

Our Event management application allows our users to publish/announce upcoming events and invite others to attend. Events may be invitation-only, private, open for all.

VITAEVISION's Job Board allows members to publish job offers. This is a free service for both, Professional and Corporate account holders.

Our Articles section hosts select stories, tips and advice on networking. We also publish syndicated columnists' articles on the economy and entrepreneurship, and interviews with featured VITAEVISION members.

VITAEVISION's Business Directory features our Corporate account holders with a simple yet comprehensive microsite to list and promote their businesses.

While all members are allowed to view and even become fan of our Directory's business individual listings, publishing privileges require a paid subscription.

These are tools that allow our users expand and organize their contact network at VITAEVISION. The "Networking Explorer" app, suggests potential contacts to our users, and allows them to import their contacts from their webmail accounts to VITAEVISION.

"User Connections" allows our users keep track of their contacts and their degree of separation in a simple visual interface.

The VITAEVISION Members Map allows members to locate their profile geographically, as well as search other members based on location. Use of this feature, of course, includes privacy settings and is optional to all members.

While all VITAEVISION members have the ability to hide their profiles from our search engine (check your "Privacy Settings"), those interested in "being found" will be shown in our "Search Members" tool results.

The "Purchases" application will enable you to purchase upcoming services in our platform. For example, advertising campaigns.

We make it easy to put a professional spin on your social life online. Features such as "Facebook Connect" and Twitter-VITAEVISION account linking allow our members to interact with their social contacts right from their VITAEVISION account.

In full compliance with such social networks' guidelines, VITAEVISION members may connect and disconnect their accounts at will and decide which contents they wish to share.

From simultaneously updating his or her status across all three networks (VITAEVISION, Facebook™ and Twitter™), to echoing a particular VITAEVISION action on their Facebook™ wall (e.g., "Read my latest blog on VITAEVISION"), adding a professional edge to your social networks is easy at VITAEVISION.

Our registered members are allowed to have their C.V. reviewed and edited by a member of our staff twice per year.This service is free of charge and includes a personalized report with C.V.-improvement suggestions.

In order to take advantage of this service, registered members must always:

1. Have an account in good standing at VITAEVISION.COM (no reports and/or warnings for infringement of our terms of use)

2. Invite (at least) one person to join VITAEVISION.COM using our invitations application. Naturally, the invitation must be successful (i.e., invitees must sign up to VITAEVISION.COM)

3. Request a C.V. review by sending us an email to support@vitaevision.com. This email must be sent from the same address member used to register to VITAEVISION.COM (don't forget to attach your C.V. to the email)

VITAEVISION does not take over your own materials at all. We are very respectful of your contents, samples of your talent and ideas. The only rights transfer that takes place at VITAEVISION is essentially your necessary consent for us to store and present your contents within our platform. We do reserve the right to edit or delete any contents that violate our Terms of Use and Privacy Policies, of course, as well as to handle your contents within the platform in order for such contents to adapt to our tools and features' technical requirements.

Similarly, all users at VITAEVISION are obliged to respect each others' rights in this respect, and that they all refrain from publishing/uploading materials to which they do not own the necessary copyrights or distribution licenses (we reserve the right to solicit the necessary proof of authorship, licensing, or distribution authorizations we deem appropriate).

The publishing of commercial contents in VITAEVISION is restricted to 'Corporate' accounts which have engaged a written agreement with VITAEVISION, as well as in select tools available to 'Professional' users to this end (namely, 'Advertising Campaigns', and Job Board).

We understand that, given the nature of our platform, it is natural that users exchange information about their trade. In fact, we encourage such an exchange. However, the publishing of materials for the sole purpose of advancing one's company or products and services is strictly prohibited.

The use of our messaging services to send commercial offers is strictly prohibited and violators will be banned without notice.
